Toni Horsfield – Director & CEO
Executive Leadership & Technical Expertise
ISO Cleanroom is led by Toni Horsfield, BA (Hons) Interior Design, whose professional background unique spans a family history in silicone chips, vacuum science, thin-film technology, and commercial space planning.
Her grandfather, Don Whitehead, founded VSW in the 1960s, a pioneering venture later sold to VG Scientific. Her father, Jon Whitehead, established Moorfield Nanotechnology, a specialist manufacturer of PVD, CVD, etch, and anneal systems, which was acquired by Judges Scientific in 2019.
Toni qualified as a designer in 1999 and ran a successful commercial design practice before returning to the scientific and clean technology sector in 2011. In 2014, she formed Clean Environments, scaling the division successfully through two acquisitions before founding ISO Cleanroom in 2020.
Today, she is a registered CTCB-I Cleanroom Testing Professional and holds full site safety and operational credentials including CSCS, PASMA, First Aid at Work (FAAW), and Asbestos Awareness. Her approach combines multi-generational scientific rigour with practical, space-optimised construction delivery, a rare combination in the cleanroom sector.

Toni oversees and validates the compliance parameters for all turnkey projects, specialising in:
- Cleanroom Testing & Certification: Proficient in Airflow Measurement and Testing alongside formal Cleanroom Classification via ISO 14644-1 Particle Counting.
- HEPA Filtration Integrity Testing: Documented execution of HEPA Filter Leak Testing utilizing Photometry under both ISO 14644-3 and IEST-RP-CC034 standards.
- Containment & Biosafety Testing: Advanced verification and Biosafety Cabinet Testing compliant with EN 12469 and NSF 49 parameters.
- Strategic Facility Layouts: Designing GMP-aligned cleanroom environments, modular systems, and custom layouts tailored specifically for high-growth start-ups and complex R&D applications.

Construction Leadership & Structural Governance
Anthony Horsfield holds a BSc in Building Surveying and leads our cleanroom construction and build division. As the former Development Director for the Timpson Group for 24 years, he directly contributed to 780 per cent business growth through strategic property development and construction leadership.
At ISO Cleanroom, Anthony combines his corporate delivery background with strict site oversight, holding the Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) qualification alongside a comprehensive suite of site safety credentials including CSCS, PASMA, First Aid at Work (FAAW), Asbestos Awareness, and Working at Height. His structured construction expertise and professional surveyor background ensure that our cleanroom facilities are delivered efficiently, safely, and in full regulatory compliance.
Operational Build Management
Anthony oversees the physical deployment phase of all turnkey projects, ensuring absolute control over:
- Principal Contractor Compliance: Enforcing rigorous structural standards and managing overall site safety governance.
- CDM Adherence: Navigating the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations flawlessly across all complex UK build sites.
- Programme and Cost Control: Managing logistics and timelines strictly to protect commercial budgets.
- Quality Installation Standards: Guaranteeing the airtightness, structural integrity, and premium finish of every modular panelling and fabric component.

Amaleed Elturkie – Designer & CTCB-I Cleanroom Testing Professional
Amaleed holds a BA (Hons) in Architecture alongside a BA (Hons) in Interior Design, providing a unique combination of structural engineering perspective and precise internal space planning. As a certified CTCB-I Cleanroom Testing Professional, Amaleed delivers specialist cleanroom design and validation expertise, ensuring all facilities meet strict ISO classification standards and performance criteria. Her advanced testing accreditations strengthen our contamination control capability across critical commissioning and performance verification phases.
She executes and validates a comprehensive range of cleanroom compliance protocols, including:

David Scott – Filtration & Mechanical Engineering
David contributes specialist expertise in cleanroom filtration systems, HVAC integration, and mechanical performance. His extensive experience in the Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers underpins his methodical approach to complex contamination control infrastructure. David is currently working towards his formal CTCB-I qualifications and has completed advanced technical ATI courses. He holds a comprehensive suite of operational and safety credentials, including CSCS, PASMA, Asbestos Awareness, and Working at Height certifications.

Denice ensures efficient coordination across design, procurement, construction and validation phases. Clear communication and responsiveness are central to the ISO Cleanroom client experience.

Cleanroom Technology Conference 2026
Toni Horsfield will chair Day 1 of the UK’s leading cleanroom conference, bringing together experts in cleanroom design, contamination control and controlled environment technology.
Contamination and control network
The UK cleanroom society CCN is the society for cleanroom, clean air and containment professionals providing a network for knowledge and development through training and education. We are very proud that our CEO Toni Horsfield has been asked to sit on the Contamination and Control Network committee.
The CCN is the key cleanroom society of the UK but also has members all over the world. The qualifications offered by the network are accredited by the CTCB-I and you can find information on those offered here.
North Cheshire Chamber of Commerce Business Award
In 2022 ISO Cleanroom won the prestigious Start-Up Business of the year award at the North Cheshire Chamber of Commerce Awards, selected from over 100 entries and judged by representatives including AstraZeneca and Citation.

Toni Horsfield wins Alderley Park Pre-Accelerator Workshop, 2022.
Toni took a fledgling cleanroom design idea focused on start ups and R&D as the customer democratic. It impressed the judges by its customer focus and inception due to a well researched market need. The design is still in development and we are working with Marks & Clerk LLP to secure a patent on the design.
I am so excited to bring this product to market. It is going to help so many people. This is an important part to the future of ISO Cleanroom.
