ISO Cleanroom Director Toni Horsfield to chair first day of the 2026 Cleanroom Technology Conference
But her passion and engagement with innovation and solving the challenges we face has made her a respected voice – and led to an invitation to chair the first day of the Cleanroom Technology Conference in Birmingham next year.
Already a member of the managing Committee of the Contamination Control Network (CCN), and a supporter of the industry training body, the Cleanroom Testing and Certification Board International (CTCB-I), Toni’s Cheshire-based business, which she runs with husband Anthony, offers Cleanroom Design, Cleanroom Build and Cleanroom Validation and Certification. The company also has a specialism in creating bespoke ISO Hoods for businesses who don’t need a full cleanroom for their manufacturing operation.
Cleanroom Technology Conference 2026
The Cleanroom Technology Conference is for professionals who work in, or manage, controlled environments and cleanrooms, including pharmaceuticals, life sciences, food, and advanced engineering.
2026 will see a two-day international event showcasing the latest innovations and trends in the cleanroom industry. The programme highlights new practices, future projections and solutions that are shaping cleanroom technology worldwide.
Taking place in May, it will once again bring together leading experts, manufacturers, and decision-makers for cleanroom knowledge-sharing, training, and industry insights.
Attendees often include representatives from major companies like NASA, L’Oréal, Pfizer, GSK, and AstraZeneca and are generally managers, directors, and engineers involved in areas like contamination control, aseptic processing, environmental monitoring, and regulatory compliance.
It’s an excellent opportunity to stay current on cleanroom innovation, regulations, and best practices – and meet up with specialists in areas such as microbiology, sterility assurance, and environmental monitoring.
Showcasing expertise – and an opportunity for discussion
The first day of the conference is 20th May 2026 and Toni’s role will involve not only introducing the speakers and making sure everything runs to time, but also encouraging interaction with delegates.
We are already talking to some very knowledgeable and respected people and I have no doubt we will have an impressive line-up of speakers – and maybe some from areas like Advanced Engineering where it would be great to have more representation. The sessions include educational pieces, case studies and panel discussions – but it is when we open them to the floor and invite delegates’ own contributions and questions that we get a chance to see how everything relates to the wider industry. It’s a great opportunity, and I really want people to get the most out of it. I am delighted to have been asked to chair the first day – our philosophy as a company is very much about education and sharing knowledge, and this show is always a fantastic platform for that. I am also looking forward to Day Two of the conference when’ Steve Ward from T-SQUARED Validair will be the chair – and I will be the one asking questions from the floor!
